My list

Here's the list of stuff I want to make for my dad and his wife so far:

Bruchetta pizza with a chickpea salad
Humus and tabouli wraps
Fish chowder (I told you that my recipe reminds me of him.)
Vegetarian ruebens or BLTs
Pasta with Pear and Walnut Sauce
Mac and Cheese
Ice Cream
Fatush
Ribolita Soup
Cheesy Rice
Nut burgers
Homemade Granola
Fruit Shakes

I can't actually make him all of this food....so here are the working menus I've come up with:

Saturday
Breakfast- Fruit Shake and muffins (Maybe coffee cake mufins. Maybe something more healthy, but it is the holidays....)
Lunch- Bruchetta pizza and chickpea salad (I need to come up with a recipe. I just liked the idea of a chickpea salad with this.)
Dinner- Pasta with Pear and Walnut Sauce with some sort of cool greans salad. I could add chicken too...but that seems forced.
Dessert- Ice Cream (two kinds: peanut butter and egg nog)

Sunday
Breakfast- Homemade granola with fruit and yogurt
Lunch- BLT's and Ribolita Soup (an Italian tomato-based soup with a lot of the same flavors as the BLT's. It will compliment really well.)
Dinner- Mac and Cheese with a cool side or salad (though I'm not really happy that I'm doing two pasta dishes...I'm not sure how to get around it)

Monday
Breakfast- I'm hoping my sexy husband will make them pancakes or waffles (I'm not a big fan). I'll be at work.
Lunch- Some cool resturant downtown.
Dinner- Fish chowder with oyster crackers and some complementary side or salad that I'm having a hard time deciding about.

Tuesday
Breakfast- I have no idea
Lunch- Some cool resturant downtown.

What do you think?
Of course, this whole thing might get scrapped if my dad's tooth hurts to much to eat solid food. He just told me today that he got a wisdom tooth out yesterday. Hm.
