The best snack ever.


Relatively healthy.


Cheap.


Delicious.


Popcorn.




And not that nasty microwave stuff...or the cardboard ubber-healthy air popped stuff.

Real popcorn.


1/3 c popcorn

3 Tbsp oil or melted butter

Salt to taste.

In your largest pot (unless you have stock pot, don't use that) combine butter/oil with popcorn and place on medium high heat (if you're using butter keep it closer to medium). Cover loosely and shake periodically. Once the popcorn starts popping (a couple of minutes), shake more often. When the popping slows, quickly transfer to popcorn bowl and salt as desired (keeping in mind that the last half of the popcorn is always more salty than the first).

Devour.
